Today, I present a sketch from before my blog was even created. Back when I was going to do video reviews, this was going to be part of my intro sequence to Character Study. After going through some old folders, I found one of my pictures that would have been part of the introductory montage.

Hmmm. I seem to remember this image looking better than that. |
Aric of Dacia, the Visigoth prince with a suit of alien armor, was one of my favorite Valiant characters before Acclaim bought the company and screwed everything up. I'm not too familiar with the rebooted version, though.
And... yeah, that scan quality's not too good. No wonder Blip.tv rejected my application. Still, they're gone now, so it looks like I got the last laugh there.
On a more serious note, my heart goes out to all those talented reviewers and other content producers affected by the end of Blip.tv. Here's hoping they find a new format to continue their creative endeavors.
RIP Blip.tv, I hope the people who had videos on it were able to save them to upload somewhere else.
ReplyDeleteAs I understand it, the first thing Blip did when they made the announcement is tell the producers how to download all their videos. So the real question is uploading, and I wish them the best of luck.
