Review: Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. "Red Rover"

Well, at this point, everybody's had a special episode. Except for She-Hulk. But who cares about her, amirite? Okay, I'm done harping on her character for now. I'll save the rest of that rant for when I get to "Galactus Goes Green."

Recap: Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. "Red Rover"

Hey, do you guys remember the fact that the Hulks went and picked up a dinosaur a few episodes ago? In this episode, the writers did. Actually, let's discuss Devil Dinosaur for a second. As commenter Yusei has noted previously, Devil Dinosaur is not actually called Red Rover in the comics. This has led to the paradox of Devil having two names. And it's the one they made up and rarely use that forms the title of this episode. What does this mean? I don't know; I don't write the episodes, I just review 'em.

Red Rover, Red Rover, send good episodes over.

It happened again. This episode gave us.... no. I won't tell you what this episode gave us. I'll let you be surprised.

Set sail into the Negative Zone!

Recap/Review: Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. "The Skaar Whisperer"

Hey. I'm back. Earlier this month, I attributed my remaining alive to not watching Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. Today, I'm alive in spite of it. Yes, I marathoned the remaining episodes in the season. Some of them weren't bad, but this one? Ugh. In this show, I’ve seen horrible stories told badly, I’ve seen good ideas wasted, and I’ve seen a single completely enjoyable half hour of television. At the very least, it can be said that this show is inconsistent. Well, in what is seemingly an effort to give the tone a more consistent feel, we have yet another horrible, badly-told episode to add to that particular pile.

Shall we get this train wreck a-rolling?

Yeah, no personalized title cards anymore. What with the post titles, it's kind of  redundant.
Yes, I know, this is a huge issue.

FYI: Posting Schedule

Well,as it turns out, I'm not dead. I attribute this to eating right, exercising, and not watching Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. But y'all haven't had any clue since Christmas that my blog was still up and running. I just want to say that I'm really sorry about that, especially since I made a bit of a deal about sticking to my schedule.

Now, I just started a new semester of college, and  this one's going to be a bit of a doozy. As such, I'll do my best to build up a buffer of posts, and I'll be keeping myself from posting too many random, unscheduled things on a whim like I often would. That depletes my post-buffer, time, and energy. Late posts are also likely to occur from time to time. I'm only human, as far as you know. I'd like to apologize in advance for this, too. Rest assured, while quantity may change, I will make sure that quality is up to par.

The schedule for the new year will follow this basic formula until further notice:

Monday- Post
Thursday- Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. View Logs
Saturday- Sketchbook (but not every week)

(Update: The schedule has changed from its original format due to learning my actual workload for this semester now.)

When will posts actually start, though? Hopefully, sometime next week. I'd like to begin by posting that analysis of the New 52 that I kept postponing due to the time it took to gather information, my waning energy levels, and the time I spent with family over the holiday season. It is (as of this writing) unfinished, but, what with the weather closing down all sorts of things, I've gained a bit of time to work on it.

(Update: The New 52 post will be postponed until November, to coincide with the 3rd anniversary of the New 52.)

(Another Update: The New 52 post is not happening for too many reasons to list.)

So, hopefully, a post schedule for January should be up soon, accompanied by actual posts.

Oh, also. Happy 2014!
