So, I'm going to start showing you all some artwork that, for whatever reason, I never finished. "Aborted Artwork," I believe I'll call them! Are you sitting comfortably? Then let's begin.
This one I did around July 2013.
As you can see by the longer shorts and older logo, I wanted to draw a more.... original Superman. I based the pose off of a recently-released image from
Man of Steel.
I don't know what it was, but as I started adding detail, I became dissatisfied with the pose. I tried changing it, I tried hiding the leg that I couldn't quite perfect, but I ended up giving up after realizing that I was probably going to have to erase most of it. Oh well. Maybe I'll try again....
